Really not impressed, bought the Tv 18months ago and this has just happened one-third of the screen is completely dark. Samsung has allocated a repairer, contacted them, and they aren't interested as it's out of warranty.

From what I can read on here this is a very common fault and should be covered by Samsung.

Samsung have agreed to repair the Tv although I don’t have a date for the engineer to carry out said repairs as yet 🤞

Hi, The Future speaking here,I have  a UA49RU7100KXZN model, its seems like the same model you have, i have the same problem, it first started at a fifth of  the side and soon it flickered and flickered until the entire screen except a fifth became dark, i guess there is no way other than to call a repair, but i am glad that someone else had a problem similar or even the same as me
