About a month ago i started getting some dark patches starting to appear on my tv didn't seem to bad at the time and thought nothing of it but now the tv is progressively getting worse and worse to the point its had to see certain parts. It is also on both sides of the TV with a small part near the middle un affected. This seems to be a common problem with Samsung TVs by the looks of the comments I have seen on the site already and i can confirm i have had the TV around 2 years 2 months. What does it usually cost to get this problem repaired or is it just cheaper to get a new TV.

Could you try a picture test to see if you can see the same issue? Go to Home > Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Picture Test.
