Hi all,
My dad who is 84 as his TV on all the time from 5 am to 11 pm.
Is this going to affect the life of the TV? Should I switch off from the plug during the day when his napping?

Yes, all electrical components only have a limited life span. Switching it off/unplugging when its not used is sensible.
