I accidentally caused this and know i will have to pay for this to be fixed but after searching online for a solution i found conflicting stories that it would cost just as much as a buying new tv. Is this true or should i go for the fix ? Help !!!

I am really sad to hear that this happened to your TV. The only ones able to confirm this are our engineers. Have you tried to contact your nearest Support Centres to get more information about this? You can find your nearest one here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/service-centre/

Thanks, yes i tried yesterday but the booking form wouldn't accept my serial number so I'm probably best just calling
