Connecting a Portable SSD T5 to a Samsung TV set

Hello,

is it possible to hook a Samsung Portable SSD T5 MU-PA250  to a Samsung LE32C630 TV set.This TV is an 8 years model so I'm afraid the T5 will put too much strain on the USB 2.0 port and damage it. What are your thoughts about this?

It should be fine you just won't get the full speed as youn would using a USB 3 port
