Howdo I cast from my S7 to my Samsung TV without using a Google Chromecast?

i use chromecast. it works a treat.

Any chance though without buying a chromecast, I can see it works with apps like Youtube, but can I cast/mirror my whole mobile screen to my tv?

Hi there!

I connect to my TV directly use the screen mirror function. It depends on your TV model, so see if there is a screen mirror option on your input menu.

Its really easy to do:

- Change your TV from your regular TV channels to the Screen Mirror option.

 - Pull down from the top of the screen while your phone is off and hit the quick connect button, then scan for nearby devices.

- This should bring up your TV if it has the feature and is in range.

- Tap on the TV and select screen mirror.

Its as simple as that, you can also use the Smart View app avaiable from the Play store (if your TV supports it)

This will let you send Photos, Videos and music to your TV, as well as use your phone as a remote.
