Cannot record on Samsung UE50TU8005KXXC

Hey, 
I've connected a HDD to the tv, with at least 500 gigs of space. 
When I go to the TV guide, there is no option to record a program, only to schedule a viewing. 
Can I get confirmation that the TV is capable of recording? It recognizes the memory device, the only issue is recording is not accesible.
The model is Samsung UE50TU8005KXXC, located in Denmark.

Are you able to play media from the HDD?

I've tested by putting an MP4-file onto the HDD from my computer. It can play on the TV.
I dislike that it states "this feature might be unavailable in some regions or some models", without providing access to a list. Is it possible that the TV is not capable of recording?

Hi I think you are correct, the device doesn't appear to support recording, what unable to research earlier.

Hi, I have the same model

 and the same problem.

The TV is able to recognised the HDD but it can neither open the photos inside it nor record tv programs.

I have tried with three diferent hard disk with xFAT and NTFS format but without success.

Any clue?
