Cannot connect universal remote to my samsung tv

I have bought a genuine samsung tv remote but it will not connect.

Are there any universal remotes (with voice control) which will connect to the ue55tu7020kxxu tv?

Hi @g25rose  Whilst often works automatically did you  press and hold the Return button and Play/Pause buttons simultaneously for at least 3 seconds (pointing at the sensor)  https://www.samsung.com//support/tv-audio-video/tv-pair-your-smart-remote/
