Can’t turn off my tv and soundbar at the same time

I have a UN65MU9000 tv and a Hw-M550 soundbar connected by D.IN cable and can’t get the tv and soundbar to turn on or off at the same time.  Please advise…..

Hi, try to connect the TV to sound bar with Hdmi cable, if your TV has an eArc port use that and to the hdmi of the sound bar. If this is how you have connected everything then you need to check if you have the latest firmware update on your sound bar.
