Can't access web browser and app search function

My family bought a UA55JU6800J in 2015, but the smart hub had been having internet issues for a while; however, we never used more than youtube or netflix, so it didn't really bother us much. However, now that we try to access the search function, no app can be found, even when we look up "youtube" or "netflix". Moreover, the web browser loads for a bit then automatically closes once we click it.

 

We've tried resetting the smart hub, which made it worse, as we couldn't load the terms and conditions nor access the smart hub afterwards (it was blacked out). We reset it again, to no avail. We switched it off for half and hour and came back; nothing changed. There was a breakthrough when we changed the internet service location to South Korea, then used a VPN hotspot to change the location of our wifi hotspot. This returned the smart hub, but the search function and web browser still do not work. Furthermore, no other internet service location will work. Please help if you have any advice, and I thank you in advance.
