Bright line on tv

Does anyone know what has caused this bright line on my Samsung frame tv? It's slowly getting longer. Is there a fix? I thought it might be reflectors having moved, but it seems that normally causes halo white spots.

I have exactly the same issue. Did you contact Samsung? Is something that we could fix with software?

It seems to be a hardware issue rather than software, Samsung UK suggested it be sent for repair, but the TV is 7 years old so I'm just living with it. It seems to have stopped getting worse.
