I have noticed on my new TV that there seems to be a brighter blob on the right third of screen when the screen is dark. The blob doesn’t come from the edge like a normal backlight bleed, but instead comes from about an inch from the edge. It is most noticeable when viewing the screen from a higher angle, and isn’t as visible when viewing the TV level.
I didn’t notice this until after installing the 1402 update from the Samsung website. Could this be a bug with the update or a defect with the television?
