Borders on TU8500

Hi all, I bought a 43" TU8500 yesterday. Today I noticed there's a slight black border around the edge of the image. It's there with every input: normal tv/netflix/ps4

Just wondering if this is normal or I've got a dodgy set. The border is about a cm on the sides and a little less  on the tops and bottoms. If its normal I can live with it, just seems odd for the image not to reach the bezel (like it does on the promo images)

Have you checked your aspect ratio

yeah Its set to 16:9 standard...Just spoke to a friend who has a different model and they have the same border, although over 2 years had never noticed it until I asked, oops..sounds like it might be a samsung 'thing'?
