Black screen tv

My Samsung TV model number UE55H6700STXXU has power , has sound but a black screen.  I can not see menu on screen if pressed.  Channel changes but stays black . 

I am looking for some answers on why this has occurred. 

This TV is 5 years old.

I disconnected everything from the television left it for 3 days . I connected the power cord and then connected it to terrestrial.  Power red light came on pressed on , again I can hear channel but no picture ,I can change channel but same ,switched out lights and pointed light at different angles ,but nothing showing on screen at all.

May TV, same as above has the exact same issue, but only 2 years old. Did you have an outcome for this on your TV?
