AU7100 43" Sound bar connects with the TV using any of optical, HDMI, or Bluetooth, but only on live terrestrial channels.
If samsung TV, iplayer, amazon prime etc or any other apps are selected, there is a quick burst of sound from the soundbar then it goes mute.
The sound output shows a wiggly bar graph, but no sound,
TV speakers work at all times if selected.
