Hi, I have a Samsung QE49Q6FNA. I want to attach an SSD to be able to record TV. I've connected my Samsung T5 SSD but the tv appears to see 2 drives rather than just the single SSD. One of the drives shows up as only about 200mb, the second one shows up as the correct 300gb, but It won't let me record to it. Why is the SSD showing up as two sepperate drives (the SSD has NOT been partitioned) and how do I set the larger drive to be the one the TV records to?

Thanks!!

Hey @Ben1l1l ,

are you able to tell us how do you have this connected to the TV and if the SSD is blank? If not, can you try to format this and see if this is still happening?

@TessM

Hi, the SSD is connected to the TV via a USB port.

The SSD was formated on a mac to Ex FAT same result. I then tried formatting the SSD again to Mac OS journaled. Again same result.

Have you tried to plug this to a different port and is the same showing when you connect this to your computer?
