We had a 75" Q95T 4K TV for 3 days now. Our AV amplifier is a Yamaha RX-V581. I just CANNOT get any audio via the ARC connection! The TV remote does control the amplifier volume, but I cannot get any sound from the amp. I have read posts on other forums, checked and rechecked everything. It SHOULD work!
In the end I gave up and connected the optical digital output to the AV amp. That is far from ideal but at least we get Dolby Surround sound.
Anyone have any ideas?
