Apple TV too dark in built in app

Hi all,

I got a brand new UA65TU8500SXNZ and everything works great except for when we play Apple TV all shows in general are way darker. I tried changging all settings and no luck. Every other source (chromecast, playstation, etc) looks correct brightness.

Anybody sorted this issue?

When will Samsung fix this problem? I had to downgrade my Netflix subscription to get rid of HDR and go to SDR and that fixed most of the problem. But I can’t do that with Apple TV+

It's now 2022 and I have the same problem.  Does anyone have a solution?

It is definitely the Samsung app. No issues with the app on our Fire TV.
