Got a new QA75Q80RAW TV today. It's great in the daylight but turn on a ceiling light and the anti glare screen shows rainbow reflections that disturb the viewing experience in a very poor way. Am I alone with this problem?

Ditto on a recently purchased Q90T-75". Logged a warranty fault with Samsung, 3rd party engineer came and took pics of the issue (he agreed it was a problem) and 2 weeks later Samsung closed the repair stating the issue is expected behavior on the screen. What smells here is I also bought a Q80T-65" at the same time and this has no rainbow effect at all. Very annoyed and frustrated after spending £4K on Samsung TV's which are supposedly the best, clearly not !!

For those with this effect, did you peel off the protective layer on the screen when you unboxed it?

What tv did you replace it with and do you still have the same issue with the new set.

Replaced it with an LG Nano91 75 inch. Very happy with it.

Same here, loved my first Samsung 65’ purchased after Sony failed on me, so few years after, I have decided to invested $ and go with the Q90 85’. TV is great in the day time, but at night when turning on lights… will go with LG on my next purchase

Maybe it's time to read about https://tvnotch.com/best-anti-glare-tvs/ which can reduce the glare in this case.

Max, "maybe," but i can't see any references to LED ceiling light reflections on that page, so i don't think it's relevant. This thread is to alert people about the issue of Samsung glare filters splitting LED ceiling lights into an echo-beam of distracting light, making comfortable viewing impossible.

Brand new QN90A 85" and same, even from a light over 20' feet away, that is not bright. Basically unwatchable....Fine with daylight but even the most dimmed ceiling lights, now pointed away - lets call it mood lighting, this is ridiculous, and other tvs in same location nothing as bad as this. Help! I was loathe to try to clean the screen being hours old, but I was wondering if adhesive from screen protector? Also they are NOT LED bulbs.
