So tried to stream the new football matches this week on my QE55Q9FN and was just shocked to see that the quality is seriously poor, like watching SD.
Tried everything of course, and it seems to be the Prime App on the TV. Logged a ticket with Amazon who said engineers knew of the issue and was now fixed, but alas, not.
Has anyone else had this same issue with Samsung? No firmware updates on TV.
It's not the actual TV, as I have used the Prime App on my Apple TV 4 on the same TV and this works flawlessly. So therefore is the actual Prime App on the TV itself.
Now thinking about buying that 4K Apple TV that I should have bought a year ago with the TV...

Oh, btw, internet connectivity/Wi-Fi is fine - 70mbps.

mine is the same on my KS9000 it wont go past HD anymore
The last time i has prime a couple of years ago it would stream in UHD now our Broadband speed has doubled and even the shows that used to be in UHD are now only HD
I am on the TV's latest firmware
Come on Samsung sort it

I bit the bullet and after using my Apple TV 4 to stream them, I've got a 4K one on order from China (£135).
They are great quality, slick and fast.
Can't wait for Samsung to fix this.
