Had this great QE55Q80TATXXU for a couple of weeks now.
Got it all set up OK, and have two inputs used - one for BT Youview box, and the other my Amazon Fire TV box.
All was configured fine with the Sammy remotes working everything including the Amazon Fire TV.
Which is fantastic as my dog chewed the Amazon Fire TV remote some time ago, and we could only use the Amazon Android app to run it till we got this TV.
Trouble is a couple of days ago the Amazon icon disappeared off the Sammy home screen and we can no longer use the Sammy remote for the fire TV box.
Can switch to the HDMI port OK, and Fire TV is displayed, but no control via the remote.
Have tried adding the Amazon box via the setting menu, but there is no option for Amazon there. Plenty of DVD players, Home theatre, etc, but no Amazon.
Tried unplugging the HDMI from back of Amazon and restarting TV, then replugging Amazon to HDMI, but while it recognises the 'new' HDMI it will not give option in menus for Amazon.
Help.
