When connecting through AirPlay from my iPhone 7 (iOS 14.1) I can see Samsung 7 Series as an option which I select. Unfortunately after about 20 seconds the message seems to suggest that the TV (UE50TU7100) is not connected to the network, but it clearly is because all other apps work (both devices are connected to the same WiFi (2.4Ghz). Any ideas?

mixing iphone (spit) and samsung is never a good idea.

You can connect iPhone to Samsung TV through AirPlay 2.

According to the report, you can find AirPlay 2 on Samsung TV: FHD/HD 4/5 Series (2018), QLED 4K Q6/Q7/Q8/Q9 Series (2018, 2019), QLED 8K Q9 Series (2019), The Frame Series (2018, 2019), Serif Series (2019), and UHD 6/7/8 Series (2018, 2019).

As for the iPhone:

You can AirPlay 2 video from iPhone with iOS 12.3 or later.

You can AirPlay 2 audio from iPhone with iOS 11.4 or later.
