Airplay not working when TV is connected via cable and iPhone via WiFi

Hi there,

I have a problem with my TV that I cannot seem to figure out myself...

Then my TV is connected to the internet via cable (ethernet) and my iPhone is via WiFi, it displays on my phone that my Samsung Q60T TV is available to Airplay. However, when I'm trying to cast via Airplay the little "loading" circle just keeps on spinning.. If I switch the TV to WiFi and NOT cabled, then it works just fine.

I have tried to search the web to find a solution, but haven't been ab

I think "air play " or " screen mirroring " it's designed to work only through WiFi

Not sure.. cause with an Apple TV you can easily do AirPlay with the Apple TV connect via cable.

You think wrong. Apple TV is recommended to be connected by Ethernet for optimum airplay performance.
