Ads on TV

Does anybody know how to turn off really annoying ads popping up on menu bar of tv. I didn't pay nearly £2500 to be bombarded with this rubbish. I have a QLED Q8. Any help would be gratefully received as this is driving me to distraction.

Never again. 4 Samsung TVs in the house. All will be replaced with lg or don't when they need to be replaced

Got mine today returning it tomorrow. Never again will I but Samsung.

Don't bother, my main TV is LG, they have started advertising now and I can't turn this off either. 🤬

I figured out how to block them. Haven't had any ads since I posted. Go to your router and look for parental controls and Block the domain ads.samsung.com and ads.samsungads.com You need to block the TVs Mac address. If that doesn't work let me know and I can tell you another way to do it as well. There is also a whole discussion about it on Reddit where they've listed all the domains to block from all tv manufacturers. Absolute disgrace that they're doing this but they can be beaten
