Adding FireTv cube to universal remote.

I have an s90c 65 Samsung tv I just purchased. 
QN65S90CAFXZA

I have been trying to set up the remote to work with my fire tv, however the OTT Box option does not show option for fire tv. 

my fire tv cube is plugged into va receiver which is plugged into the tv, so the fire tv is not directly plugged into the tv. 

samsung support is absolutely no help at all., can anyone help?  It would be great to not have to use two remotes.

probably doesn't work if it's not directly connected to the TV.

Doesn’t make any sense, it’s the only streaming box that is not an option. 

this Samsung tv has been very frustrating out of the box. Everytime it’s turned on, it automatically opens hdmi4 and says lost connection. There’s nothing plugged into any of the hdmi ports except for hdmi 1. 

this $2000 hunk of junk is about to go back to Best Buy.

Thank you for the suggestion, I have tried that. My issue is, there is a preset list of options to choose from in the options to add streaming device to the remote’s capabilities. You have apple, Roku, Xbox and several others but no Amazon fire. I feel like the solution here is very simple, Samsung just needs to add Amazon fire to the list of options through an update, but getting anyone to understand that this is what is needed is nearly impossible.

pretty sure mine works with apple TV via the remote control or roku. one of the 2 try them.

I’ll try that, the remote doesn’t work however in the preview option. I went through all of them and did the preview option.
