Have they started shipping the one connect boxes over yet from 2.0 to HDMI 2.1 ?

Cant get anything from the Indian call centre staff not one of them understands what I am asking them.

Absolutley useless for a new customer asking any questions as they do not know the products.

He kept saying on phone 60 frame per minute, then he said running in 60p -- shows you how ill informed they or on products, rang 5 different times and not one can answer my question.

does anyone who owns one of the Q900R 8Ktvs could give me an insight into them, has there been any problems, good and bad points?

be as honest as you can.

Also has anyone had the chance to see a 4k tv and an 8tv side by side and if so is the comparison noticable.?

if anyone would like to see how 8k videos look on the Q 900 you can download such material from the following source, put it on a usb stick and connect it to the OCB:

https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/14IKXJevMBSS1lVG7ZxjttNkERG1ZuxKK

The author converted YouTube videos in the format that can be processed by the Q 900.

it's brilliant to see the details that 8K can show!

attached you can find some photos I took with my iPhone 11 Pro in 4k from the 8K video of New York City at day and at night I downloaded from the source in my previous post. Look at the cars in the street, you can even identify the taxi sign on the cars!

Despite all the discussions about necessary enhancements for the Q 900, it is in my eyes still a fantastic TV

there is obviously a newer model called Q 900 TS out there, which obviously plays YouTube 8K videos. So hopefully Samsung will implement that for the Q 900 R models as well.

Because the 2020 8K model got AV1 Codec for Youtube 8K wich the Q900R doesn't have, you guys should get in touch with Samsung support to ask about it, i have been in contact in the past months with the itaian support but i don't have any news, check with you local support and let's see if they will plan something for us

Note: Fan should be placed to blow against the back of your TV screen where the vents on the back of the TV are. I noticed a drastic temp drop of the TV screen and the one box

Does your q900r run hot? If so what do you all do about it? Lots of heat on the back of tv and the ocb gets hot too. I dont have it wall mounted but i imagine if i had it wall mounted it would even get hotter

my thoughts would to be place fans on back of tv to suck hot air out and not push it in

If you want to cool something off you blow air on it that is of a lesser temp. Thermodynamics 😷😍
