  1. Turn off your device .

Still wait for the phone to vibrate before you proceed.

  2. Connect a headset to your device.

Any headset with USB-C interface will do the trick.

  3. Now press and hold the Volume Up and Power keys for 8 seconds.

Most of the time, it will actually take just around 4 seconds before the device responds.

  4. Once the logo appears, release both keys.

This time, your phone will enter the Recovery Mode.

  5. Select Wipe Cache Partition.

Using the Volume Down rocker, highlight Wipe cache partition, and then press the Power key to select it.

  6. Confirm you want to proceed.

Highlight Yes, and press the Power key again.

  7. Reboot your phone.

The process will take just a couple of seconds. So once the cache partition is wiped off of its contents, press the Power key to reboot your device.

This time, the reboot will take a little longer than usual as the system rebuilds the cache. But once your Galaxy S21 reaches the lock screen, it’s good to go

I never knew a USB headset would do the trick here, always plugged it into a PC but that's much easier!

I'd say after a normal software update I would also do that too, might not be necessary for minor monthly updates but it doesn't harm anyway
