Hello,
I have been stock for few weeks now. My tablett doesn't work properly because the internal clock is never synchronised with internet time.
There is obviously no option available in the settings, and the tablett need to be rooted to synch through any app. It is a wifi only tablett with android 4.1.1
So if any out there has a way to either synch the clock or root the device, i am up for it
P.S : i tried using samsung's driver to plug the tablett to the windows 10 but it doesn't work, the software isn't designed for recent windows. I tried running the software with windows xp and other parametres, but it didn't work.
Would it work better with a linux ?

Rooting is not a procedure approved by Samsung, as it might damage your device. If you would like to proceed with it anyway, I suggest you post this question on a forum dedicated to it.

My primary goal is not to root the device, it is to go on internet. But the clock doesn't synchronise automatically for obscure reasons. It seems that this options hasn't been developped in the android 4.1.1
How can I avoid problems on internet because of a desynched clock ?

Could you please check if you have the option "Automatic date and time" in Settings > General Management > Date and time ?

As I said in my post, this option does not exist in android 4.1.1 on this tablett (wifi only)

Would anyone have a solution to this clock problem or is the tablett designed to be thrown away even if it works on every other aspect ?

I suggest that you contact the Samsung customer support of the country where you bought the product, as certain functionalities can differ by region.
