I have just been given a wireless charger which works so well with my S20 and my Watch4.
I would like to use it with my S6 tablet but it hasn't got that feature.
My questions are ..
Is there a technical reason why not?
If I bought one of the many wireless add-on devices available on Amazon or Ebay, would it work?
And, might it damage my tablet.
Thank you.

The tab s6 doesn't support wireless charging yes. The technical reason why, Samsung didn't put a wireless charging coil in it. If you buy a wireless charger addon from amazon, your basically just buying a coil that you place on the back and has a cable that goes to the charger port. The tablet would just see it as a normal charger. Shouldn't cause damage but there's so many options that I can't check exactly what addon your looking at.

Batteries on tablets are typically twice the size or more in capacity vs phones. Wireless charging is a slow and inefficient way to charge a device. It also generates a lot more heat in the process. It's usually ignored on tablets for this reason, a long slow charge time and would generate a lot of heat in the process.
