Has anyone with a Tab S6 (or S7) got a more up to date Gmail app than the Jun 2020 version and got it from the Play Store?

I have the tab S7 plus 5g and last update was 21 SEP 2021 and yes play store

I have the S7 Plus and on the Play Store it says the last update was June 2020 but the version number in app setting reads "Version 2020.11.29.346182102.Release". I assume this means it's a release from Nov 2020.

Check you have auto-update enabled for it in Play Store, also be aware that the Tablet build of GMail for WiFi only models is the one Mallone gives details for and still current.

I don't have auto update enabled, I just check regularly and manually update other apps offered with an update. No updates offered for Gmail and play store only offers the June 2020 version. Other Samsung devices I have get regular Gmail updates.

Well to my surprise my S6 got a Gmail update today! Not clear what's changed and no Meet option as per my phone's app but at least a first update in 16 months.
