Hi all,
I've purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ on release including the keyboard case. Until recently I haven't used the keyboard case much, but now I've started using it I realize that there seems to be way to type accented letters (é, è, ï, ê etc.).
This renders the keyboard case virtually unusable for any other language than English (and I'm Dutch). Is there any way to type accented characters without the need to use the on-screen keyboard?
Looking forward to your answers.

(UPDATE 3 weeks later: Just found out the below doesn't work when using Samsung Dex... Frustrating.)
This has been driving me nuts... Thanks to earlier posters on this topic!
My particular solution found so far:
- Installed and selected GBoard as input method (the following doesn't work with Samsung's virtual keyboard selected), andEnglish (US) for the language. Then the following works:
Alt (R)
+ A = á
+ E = é
+ I = í
+ O = ó
+ U = ú
ˋ
followed by A = à
followed by E = è
followed by I = ì
followed by O = ò
followed by U = ù
ˆ
followed by A = â
followed by E = ê
followed by I = î
followed by O = ô
followed by U = û
Various
Alt (R) + , = ç
˜ followed by N = ñ
Alt (L/R) pressed on its own = emoji selector
