transferring more than 4gb to sd card

I have a tab s6 and a 512gb micro sd card, I want to move my music onto it, 29gb, the card is formated on the tablet exfat but when I try it only let's me put 4gb into music file, I tried making another file but that won't let me play music from it. Any help would be appreciated

put the sd card on your pc and format it fat32 format.

Also may you send me a pic of your card front and back?

thanks for the reply, on further checking found the sd card faulty, need to buy a new one.
