TabletsHello,
I purchased an older samsung tabpro S (windows 10):
https://www.samsung.com/nl/tablets/others/galaxy-tabpro-s-12-inch-black-128gb-wi-fi-sm-w700nzkaphn/
Everything seems to work fine, except for
charging. The battery quality is 95% according to various apps. Still, when I work
plugged in, the tablet discharges faster than it charges up. I tried various
chargers and cables. Some seem to work better than others. So I got this
genuine one from samsung, after some research:
https://www.samsung.com/nl/support/model/EP-TA800XBEGWW/
But even with that 25W one, the battery level still drops slowly, when
working on the tablet plugged in.
According to several battery usage apps, it charges at a maximum of 9W
(batteryinfoview), and used probably more, because the level still drops slowly.
Is this the correct charger to use? Any suggestions are welcome
thnx

TabletsHello
I found the right charger. After contacting samsung customer care, I purchased an EP-TA800 charger. They said that would probably work. And it did, but according to
batteryinfoview, I still only got a 9000 milliwatt
charging rate, where the charger is 25W. Finding the actual specs of various chargers (volts/amps)
is quite difficult, eg there is no info on samsung's website that I could find.
So I googled numerous images
depicting the backsides of the chargers with technical specs. I found that the original
charger shipped with the tabpro is EP-TA300, and that one has a max output voltage of 12V,
1V higher than the EP-TA800. So I purchased that one aswell and yes: now I'm getting double
the charging rate, 18000milliwatts, though it varies a bit. ...
Just leaving this here for anyone's future reference ....
