Hi. My tablet is no longer supported by Android 4.4.4 and I have seen posts on the same subject by others. I've had my tablet about 5 years and annoyed that I'll have tp purchase an upgraded tablet as I am unabke to use my banking apps etc.

Can anyone recommend a replacement tablet that won't become out of date in a few years? Ideally in the same price bracket as my existing tablet.

There's no such thing as a Tablet which won't stop getting updates. Lately Samsung have revised their policy regarding Android version and security updates so Tablets and Phones get longer support but it's still not lifetime of the device support. The 2020 Galaxy Tab A7 has Android 11 (it shipped with Android 10) and is scheduled to get at least Android 12 and subsequent Quarterly security updates. Either way, getting a current Tablet with Android 11 should get you many more years banking app support if you have no computer or smartphone to use instead.
