hey, I tried to download some films for my flight in a few days and wanted to use my sd card for the download location. And when I tried to switch it to that, it switches back to internal storage, I have formatted the sd card, reinstalled the app, cleared the data etc, but nothing works, is there a fix for this? much thanks

Have you tried moving or copying them to your SD card manually, using the My Files app?

as far as I am aware they don't actually show in my files, as it just adds to the apps data, its strange though as disney+ let's me download movies and series.

Where did you download the films from?

Quite a lot of sites will only let you download to the device storage because of copyright.

It gives me the option to download to external it just doesn't switch to external when you try

@UNKNOWNUSERNAME: If you download a movie from the Netflix app to view offline, then they will only be accessible via the app itself. As apps and their data are limited to the internal storage of your Tab S8, this is likely to be the reason why you're unable to move the files to your SD card.

thanks Andrew, it's strange as it gives me the option to but maybe they've stopped that.
