My Tab S8 won't charge again since the battery died, it shows the lighting bolt and circle but it's not green and spinning like it does when charging.
I've tried some possible solutions such as the, soft reset, cable and plug check and change, I have even set it back to the factory settings.
I manage to get the set up screen on briefly, and with the charger plugged in it says 1% but doesn't show it charging, I also unplugged the cable in and out to see if I could get it out of limbo but so far, I've not been successful.
A solution would be very much appreciated, if indeed, there is one out there!
Many thanks x

Did your tab discharge to 0 percent battery and switch off? If yes, press and hold the volume down button and power button simultaneously and it should power on, keeping it plugged into your charger. That's the trick and should switch on your tab in no time.

Thank you so much for taking the time out to reply back.
I did try that solution, but unfortunately, to no avail. In the end, I had to call Samsung and speak to a technician to see if we could resolve it remotely, and after several attempts with suggested solutions, I had to send it to the Samsung Repair Centre.
Fortunately, it was still under warranty, so the repair was done for free, and it was returned back to me in less than a week, which I thought was really impressive, it's all up and running again now thankfully 🥰 x
