Tab S8 Ultra and Tab S7+ Chromecast Power Off Issue ..

Hello folks, my Tab S8 Ultra and Tab S7+ are dropping their Chromecast connections when the screens sleep. My S22 is fine so I know that it's not a more general issue. If anyone has any idea what's causing this I'd love to hear from you. Many thanks.

Sounds like a power saving setting in your WiFi options on the tablets. Try looking in advanced WiFi options to disable it and see if it helps.

Neither tablet has a wifi power saving mode (at least that I can find). My S22 has that setting and it is turned off and YouTube/Chromecast works fine on that device.

Thanks for your help but it took clearing the Home app's cache to sort it. It's now working properly on both tablets 😊 ..
