Hello,

I'd like to share my experience with tab S8 plus.

I have my device for almost a year now and I've been noticing few scratches coming up on my screen. I started wondering how I got the screen scratched since I am very, very cautious with my tablet. I got really upset when I found out how the screen was getting scratched. For my surprise, by my nails. Yes, and I'm a man and I barely have nails because I keep them very short. So, I'm quite disappointed with the screen quality for the price of this device. I had an iPad for 5 years and that never happened. Just saying.

The marks your seeing might be the degradation of the oleophobic coating on the display that helps to repel fingerprint marks etc.

Normal wear and tear over time means this can start to degrade.

Your fingernails simply are not strong or sharp enough or made of the material that would scratch the screen my friend.

You could look at fitting a screen protector that may hide the marks if they are always catching your attention.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎
