Tab s7 plus screen freezing

I opened a contract for tab s7 plus on 2nd November from Vodafone uk. I received it on 3rd November and set it. In the last week I have found that I'm having issues with my screen freezing. Its getting to the point where I have to lock and unlock it just to be able to interact with the screen.  Please can someone help me. I've already done a factory reset.

I know it is frustrating when a device is sluggish , but , there's plenty of people here willing to help ( or at least try to help) . So , here's what you could try :
1. - go to settings/ about phone / software info and tap repeatedly on "build number " until you get a message that "developer mode " is activated.

2.- "flip the switch " on these 2 options.
