Hello,

I recently upgraded to Android13 and after few hours I turn tablet off and now is stuck in infinite boot loop.

I can't access recovery mode with or without cables.

My theory is because first logo that appears is Android logo and then Samsung logo.
On S22 phone and all other phones I have (Note8, Note10) first logo is Samsung then Android logo.
Is there any workaround for this ? It just loops until battery dies

I tried with few cables, with charger, even with AKG earphones that comes with phones, it wont boot into recovery mode and when I press and hold buttons on first logo (Android) it just stays on it until I release all buttons

Thx

Neil, it is the 2022 version. I tried attaching it to the laptop yesterday but that didn't seem to do anything...

How did you resolve this please? I have the same problem with android 15 and now have had to buy a new phone as I need to travel for work... so annoying.

you could try press power button and volume up to force it reboot then switch to power button and volume down quickly to get into recovery mode (with USB cable attach to the laptop). It may need to try several times since your tablet is already unstable.

I sometimes put the tablet in a refrigerator to let it reboot itself if boot loop occurs. It usually works.

But even my Tab S6 lite can work now, it sometimes still get into boot loop. I have to let it run in power saving mode to lower the CPU frequency. You may still need to buy a new tablet if you need it to do everyday work.

thanks but I have tried that power up and power down many times. It is now without power... Do you suggest I charge it and put in the fridge?  Is that to keep it cool when rebooting?

Hi Annie

This sometimes works.

https://r2.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-M/Exynos-9611-Restart-issue-Fix-Requires-ROOT-ignore-if-n...

I was read this thread has mention it. My S6 lite 2020 version use the same exynos 9611 processor. He said using a ice pack can make it boot.

But your device is a newer version, I'm not sure if your case is the same as mine.

Thanks for all your help. I have put an icepack on the screen. Is that the suggestion?

Got the recovery option after connecting it to my laptop via USB C cable.  Was then able to perform factory reset.
