I've had this tablet for about 6 weeks and it's got a problem with the wifi connection. When the screen goes into sleep mode and after about 15 minutes the wifi does not stay connected. If you turn screen back on before this time it mostly stays connected but if you leave it after 15 mins then you get an exclamation mark next to the wifi signal and only way to get it to connect is by turning the wifi off and on again. We have tried it in safe mode, done a factory reset, took it back to Currys where we bought it and the sent it back to Samsung. When it returned they hadn't fixed the problem if anything it is having issues quicker than before now. The wifi is fine if the screen doesn't turn off. Wanted to know if anyone can help before we escalate this now as the tablet is not in working condition edition and we will be asking for a replacement or refund.
Edit to add: We have a few other devices that connect and stay connected to our home wifi so there is no problem with that

Hello,
Please go to settings > device care > battery > enable stay connected when device sleeps
Thanks 🙂

Hi there, we have searched for the mysterious enable stay connected when device sleeps after getting this advice, reading about it in the past. This tablet has android Pie and does not seem to have this option anymore.

Hi, has anyone a solution yet? I have the same issue. It was not on the 2016 version but on the 2019 version.
There is no setting to stay connected to wifi in sleep mode, when awakened you have to switch off wifi and back on and it reconnects
