Actually, I did even remove the google account from the device settings before factory reset.

Now it rejects my previously used account after factory reset.

The tablet still appear in my google accounts's device list.

After each factory reset, another such device is added in the list, with new login / logout actavity.

So, the Google account actually IS the right one.
I do not understand why it is not accepted.
Any ideas?

Can I find out at least WHICH Google account's credentials are actually expected??

Hi @DrFrisch

Did you manage to get this sorted or are you still having the same issue?

Hello,

Yes, I solved it. The actual problem was the USB connection with my laptop. After a restart of the laptop it worked. Using some Youtube advice video, with odin. Did an Android update to version 8 on the fly.

I tried before some tools from the internet, but that was before my USB worked, so I got no USB connection. Anyway, installing applications from unknown sources is kind of risky.

Before, I also contacted Samsung support by chat, which insisted that I have to send in the tablet and pay for unocking it.
