Struggling with second screen feature with S8 Ultra

I have followed the suggestions to use the windows application to adjust the screen resolution to 1920 x 1200 which helped a bit, although I still have huge bezels around the entire screen.  The issue for most people is just black bars where as mine is the whole screen is smaller.

I thought this only worked Samsung laptop to tablet, I used to use it on my Book2Pro and S8 Ultra.
