Go to your recent calls, click the caller and then the 'i' icon. You can then block the number from the option at the bottom.

@idk_8899: Further to the above, you can also open the Phone app > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Settings > Block numbers > Recents, and tap on any numbers that you'd like to block from here.

@idk_8899  Additionally Smart Call via Hiya on Samsung Devices provides caller and ID and Spam protection.  once this is enabled via the phone settings option to Block all Spam and Scam calls  or only high risk scam calls. Whilst not full proof works pretty well for me. https://www.hiya.com/products-smart-call see some information here other call Blockers ae also available.
