Slow TAB S 6 keyboard

The physical keyboard attached to my galaxy tab S 6 is much too slow . I have to leave a key pressed for about 0.2 second or more for the key to be entered. How can it be configured like a normal keyboard and be immediate? Thanks

Try a phone restart

Or try deleting the keyboard cache

What keyboard is it? Has it ever worked properly?

@npettiaux: Are you referring to a Keyboard Cover, or do you have a Bluetooth keyboard connected to the tablet?

It has never worked better than that. It is the origninal Samsung Keybord cover.
