Just bought a s6 lite all I get on the screen is password the password I put in does not seem to be correct any ideas?

Check your are using 0 zero
Or letter O

How did you purchase the phone, if you brought it brand new you would need to set it up, then you can set a pin or password or neither and use the swipe method.
