How come I have had 2 updates on my tab s8 and I'm still on the 1st of May.. Had an update today and saying May security patch.

I have that on my Tab A7. It got April 1st 2022 security patches for Android and May 1st for Google Play in a ROM update from Samsung this week. However, with tablets that is typically okay. What you will see if you open software information is that the linux kernel has been patched which is why the multiple updates with the apparent same May 1st date. My kernel is timestamped June 2022
