Hi i am not able to watch netflix in HD anymore as the app is showing widevine L3 and can only playback in sd.
However after checking widevine i am deffo on L1.
Does anyone have a solution for this.
I've tried samsung chat and netflix chat and they had no idea. 
I only bought this tab to watch netflix and youtube mainly.

Widevine is Google's product and an update has caused problems across different makes if device. Somehow this has affected certification need to receive HD content. You will need to reach out to Google for support.

Also my other device has been updated which is a oneplus device. It works fine on that. All in hdr

Did you find a solution? I also have this problem. Netflix App is showing Widevine L3 for some reason.

I fixed it mate. Its all in HD. I disabled the netlix app and cleared data and cache on playstore and then i reset the tab by going into recovery mode. It's all fine now

Factory reset? Then presumably don't install any updates.

No i have the latest version mate not sure how it worked i read it somewhere on google. Ill send u some pics in abit im watching footy atm
