Samsung Tab A 2016 crashes all the time

hi  I have a samsung Tab A SMT580.2016 !6 GB 

It is crashing  when I want to look a an email and ebay items it says "tab as crashed"

There is 2 gb of memory left.

Please advise is the tablet too old as the latest update as on screen was  MAY  2020, and checked  OCTOBER 2020.

Also the tablet as work fine until a few weeks ago?

Also I have installed an sd card, and cant seem to find a Cut and paste system. to transfer some memory to the sd card.(if memory is the problem)

I have tried to without cut and paste, but it appears to a very laborious and time consuming exercise.

Please please advise.

In my experience backing up valuable files to a microSD card and then factory resetting unreliable tablets is often the quickest and easiest way to solve such reliability problems (especially if its not had such treatment for a long time). it does mean your tablet will be wiped and restored to a 'from the factory' state (but with the latest updated software). The built in manual should guide you on how to do it and you'll need to reinstall any software afterwards.
