My Gear Fit 2 Pro does not appear on the Samsung Gear app on my Galaxy Tab E 8.0. I purchased this tablet together with the fitness band since they are both from the same manufacture and the website implies that the fitness band is compatible with android devices. When I open the Samsung Gear app, it says 'Gear not appearing'. Has anyone else had any issues with the app and their Fit 2 pro device?

No the matter is not solved. I have a new tab S6 and am been told the same. This is not acceptable!
